Shigeko Kubota Video Art Foundation, Beacon

SKVAF Beacon is a space dedicated to exhibiting vibrant video sculptures and other works by Shigeko Kubota that are currently being restored by the Foundation, as well as collaborations with the broader video art community. SKVAF Beacon’s new studio space is located a short walk from our Beacon, NY restoration workshop. The restoration workshop houses much of the Foundation’s collection and is an active space for restoring Kubota’s original video sculptures. SKVAF holds special events and offers behind the scenes tours of our workspace.
